Nurture + Grace
Postpartum Doula Services
Offering evidence-based support on things such as infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, mother-baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care
Even for experienced parents, bringing home a new baby means changing routines, dividing time and just trying to figure out how to juggle it all. This is where a postpartum doula can bring calming peace to the home. If you had a cesarean delivery or any other birth complications, a postpartum doula can carry the load to help your recovery and healing.
As a postpartum doula I offer many services to my clients, but my main goals are to help “mother the mother” and nurture the entire family as they transition into life with a newborn. This would include doing things to help mom and dad feel more confident in their roles, sharing education on family adjustment, and tending to the unique needs of a new mother.
Most families request services anywhere from 4 weeks up to 12 weeks after bringing home a new baby depending on the family situations and dynamics; receiving assistance for as many as 5 days a week, then adjusting down to three, and two as the weeks pass and the family transitions.
Daytime shifts (with a minimum of 4 hours) and nighttime shifts (with a minimum of 8 hours)are both available/ Helping determine each families individual needs and customizing a plan to best serve their priorities will take place at the initial consultation.

Working closely with families ; walking beside them during the intimate and emotional time of bringing home a new child, is not a career path but a calling.
Testimonials
Being a new mom isn’t something that comes with a handbook, but I am so thankful for Lynn as she guided, supported and educated me and my husband. When we welcomed our new born baby girl , the knowledge and expertise was just the icing on the cake following her patience, compassion and overall nurturing soul. When she was present all my worries went away and I was able to truly focus on being the best version of me to be there for my child in the best way possible. Our baby was on a regular sleep schedule and nursing schedule with the help and guidance of Lynn. I can’t recommend her enough and truly hope more families get to experience what we experienced during this special time in our lives as new parents.

Lynn was a Godsend with our daughter. We didn’t know what to expect having our first child, but colic and acid reflux was definitely not it. Lynn helped us develop a routine for our daughter and took away the anxiety we felt as new parents. She gave us precious hours of uninterrupted sleep, knowing our new daughter was in good hands. If you’re looking for support as a new parent, look no further. Lynn is your super hero!

Lynn is very personable and enthusiastic about newborn care. She helped us build our confidence as first time parents by giving us tips and tricks of the signs to look for to tell what the baby wants when crying. We also had full trust in Lynn watching our newborn, which allowed us to get the uninterrupted rest we needed to be better parents during the first few weeks. Lynn’s top priorities are making sure that baby and mom stay healthy during what can be a very difficult transition into life with a newborn.
